Royal Wedding Recap 2

It has almost been a week since the Royal Wedding and I am still basking in its glow! In today's recap I am going to be touching the "kiss", and the different receptions! I can now say I am slightly obsessed with all things British!

First off we will start with the kisses!! Both of them!! I was so excited when they came out onto the balcony! Catherine was so surprised to see how many people and she looked genuinely happy!

Then they had a very classy affair thrown by the queen where they mingled with dignitaries!

They ate a FABULOUS cake!

And they drove off into the sunset!

Oh but the fun was not over with this ride in the Aston Martin!

 There was a night reception hosted by Prince Charles for 300 guests at Buckingham Palace! Here are some candid shots of people arriving and leaving the party!

First off we see Duchess Catherine in her second gown of the day, also by McQueen!

Too bad no pictures have surfaced from the nighttime party! I am dieing to see the flower arrangements and dance floor.

The next morning the Duke and Duchess took off by helicopter at Buckingham Palace for an extended weekend away before taking a full honeymoon at a later date! They look fabulous considering supposedly they were up all night partying!

Royal Wedding Recap!

Let me start off by saying that this Royal Wedding really made my weekend. I was one of the crazy people up at 4am to watch the pre show and wait in anticipation for the first look of Catherine in "the dress"! The Today show was spot on when they supposedly "spotted" Sarah Burton going into The Goring Hotel, so it was no surprise when the announced it was McQueen!

Now onto the Men! Prince William looked very dapper and hansom but was almost out shined by the adorable Harry!!!

Hope Everyone had a fabulous Easter! We had a wonderful day even though it was rainy all day!

I had every intention of buying a new dress for Easter but was so frustrated by the crowds at the mall all I came away with was a perfect pair of sandals to wear with a cute little dress I already had!

Sam Edelman Sandals! I bought these this weekend to wear and am now obsessed. I hate though when you first buy some sandals and they rub your feet till get used to them again. These are my new obsession for now!

I have also have a new obsession with Jack Rogers, I am hoping to get a pair soon!! Here are a couple of pairs I have my eye on!

These Jack Rogers can be monogrammed! If you know me at all, you know how much I love anything and everything monogrammed!

I am in love with these Coach Sandals. I have a couple of pairs of Coach Sandals and they last forever and are so comfy and classic, they go with anything and never go out of style.

April Showers will Hopefully Bring May Flowers

What a dreary April day today! It was so hto this weekend though it nice for a little cool down and some rain. My dad was in town this weekend and helped us with some much needed yard work! The yard looks amazing and we even planted a flower! This rain is perfect and hopefully the flower will grow beautifully. Since it is so nasty today I thought I would bring you some of my favorite umbrellas and wellies!

I am obsessed with all things Burberry! I have a pink Burberry Umbrella and the classic Burberry Wellies! Here is a new Burberry Umbrella and matching Wellie! These are classic with an edgy twist!

I also always am loving Kate Spade! Her brand is always to bright and airy, and she is from KC, and so am I! My first expensive bag was a Kate Spade!

I also love Sperry Topsider! I love boat shoes! They are comfy and you really can wear them with anything. I have a pair of Gold Shiny ones that I am obsessed with. Here is my favorite pair of the Sperry Wellies.
