My Award Winning Chili Recipe

A couple of years ago my company had a chili cook-off!!!! It was so fun!! There were only 22 of us there and not everyone submitted a chili but my chili won! YAY! In the judge's words it was a "classic" chili! Anyway I brag about my win every time I make this chili!

Kat's Award Winning Classic Chili
-2 and a half pounds of ground beef (the recipe calls for half ground beef and half deer meat! I do not like deer meat so I just use ground beef)
-2 cans of tomato sauce
-1  can of rotel
-1 small can of diced green chilis
-1 can of kidney bean(drain the liquid)
-1 can of chili beans
-1 packet of chili seasoning

Ok, once I have the hamburger meat browning on the stove I take out my crock pot and go ahead and pour all the cans of everything into the crock pot. I stir everything around and then just add a dash of Worcester sauce, hot sauce, some seasoned salt. You can really add anything into this if you want. I would add jalapenos but my hubby doesn't like them. This chili is so good and anything you add would just be a little something extra and fun into it.

After you brown the meat and put the chili seasoning on it just add it into the crock pot and stir then put the lid on the crock pot and let it cook.

I am a firm believer in letting it cook all day or even over night!

I add cheddar cheese on top of it and some Fritos on the bottom! Not healthy but oh so yummy!
